A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at West Lawn Memorial Park in Eugene for Charles Edward Carnahan of Eugene, who died Aug. 5 of age-related causes. He was 84. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, at West Lawn Memorial Park.
He was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Albion, Neb., to William and Clara Bell Stores Carnahan. He married Bonnie Smith on Aug. 26, 1967, in Eugene. She died Sept. 21, 2009.
He worked as a millworker at Cabax and was also a business owner and landscaper.
Survivors include three sons, Tom Carnahan of Springfield, Ed Carnahan of Wilsonville and Tim Enyart of Aloha; two daughters, Christy Cruz of Miami and Cindy Gutierrez of Yakima, Wash.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
