Patricia Osmer, born to Vera Clements (Longmire) and James Hamilton Clements in Seattle, WA Oct. 22nd 1931, passed peacefully at home on March 3rd 2011, surrounded by family.
Patricia is survived by her family; her children Shirley (Sangrey), James, Daniel, Wade, Warren, Jesse, Buck, Elizabeth, Dean J. and Filina (Niemeyer), husband Dean, as well as 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Larry Tyler, her sisters Jean Lesnick and Shirley Thomas, and many nieces and nephews. Patricia is preceded in death by her brothers James H. Clements and Francis “Buzz” Tyler II.
She was a descendant of one of Washington’s pioneer families, the Longmires and spent most of her life on the Olympic Peninsula. Patricia will be remembered for her vivaciousness, outgoing spirit, compassion, love of animals, gardening and woodcarving. Above all, she will be remembered as a dedicated and loving mother.
She will be dearly missed by all of us.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March the 13th., 2 p.m., at the Maritime Center, 431 Water Street, Port Townsend, WA.
